Entrances

An encounter with a building usually starts at its entrance. While the façade makes an impression from a distance and might disseminate either a depressing or a grandiose aura, we actually "experience" the building for the first time in its entrance area.

This is why we always aspire to accentuate and revive the old splendour of entrances and vestibules. This is done either by treatment of the historic substance or by a tactful and tasteful addition of something new.
